points, “Extensive research reveals that fraud is very rare. Yet repeated,
false allegations of fraud can make it harder for millions of eligible
Americans to participate in elections.”
Why? Because
those making the fraudulent claims about fraud use lies and deceit to their
push to restrict voting.
Claims about vote fraud and rigged
elections – in the absence of any credible information – follow in a long tradition
of limiting voting to worthy people.

a privilege, right, or responsibility, we ask ourselves ‘what is the true
nature of democracy’ and ‘what is ultimately just.’ …. It is painfully obvious,

registration laws, that voting is often viewed as a privilege to be enjoyed by ‘worthy’
people and not by others.”
